Abstract:
I will consider a general system of several ordinary differential equations coupled with one reaction-diffusion equation in a bounded domain with the non-flux boundary condition. In this talk I will show that these initial-boundary value problems may have regular (sufficiently smooth) stationary solutions and that all such solutions are unstable. This is a complementary result to the another work where stable discontinuous stationary solutions were constructed.
